The Haute Ardenne Station - Avenature
Friday March 22 took place at La Station de la Haute Ardenne (Baraque de Fraiture) the inauguration of the NEW ACROBRANCHE COURSE from the company Avenature .
But Friday was also the official opening of the new season of the Nature Sports Center in the same location.
As you know, over the years, in order to make our Baraque de Fraiture a place to welcome all seasons, in addition to snow sports, different activities have gradually been offered to lovers of nature, sports and the great outdoors: the BMX course, the downhill slopes, the multi-sport field, the playground, the walking circuits, the barbecue area, the meeting rooms, the accommodation, the orienteering courses, nature discovery courses or mountain biking, and of course the various events that mark the sporting seasons...
But the ideas continued to emerge. This is how, from now on, you will also find on this site:
- A BMX track, a Laser Games in the forest and a revised and more extensive catering option, all run by Madame Julie Léonard for La Station.
- A mountaincart activity as well as mountain bikes and electric mountain bikes, managed by Mr. Roch Göbels, for the company Ski Action.
- A tree climbing course, a disc golf course, an archery, rifle shooting and ax throwing field, as well as the Archery Tag field of Mr. Yves Vuegen, for the newly established Avenature company installed in this location.
A successful partnership, to develop a very good offer...
Congratulations and sincere thanks to the three of them for their work and their investment, as well as to those who work alongside them.
Thank you also to all the people who have supported and carried this site since the creation of the ski slope 50 years ago...

From Saturday February 3 to Sunday March 3, 2024.
The rink is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a 1.5-hour skating session every even hour. For precise times, check the Facebook page @Patinoire de Vielsalm, as certain times are reserved for schools or lessons. Likewise, evening events are planned on Fridays and Saturdays.
Equipment rental on site, heated cafeteria, light meals.
Prices have not yet been definitively fixed to date, allow a maximum of €7 for an adult session, skate rental included.

- From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., guided night hike (6km or 11km of your choice). Be careful, bring a headlamp (obligatory) as well as shoes and clothing adapted to the weather

In his new show, Martin Charlier offers us a gallery of characters who poison our daily lives with their advice, remarks, and morals that we would gladly do without. The opportunity to see characters well known to everyone, such as Madame Rigid, a depressed teacher, Tristan, the gay friend who allows himself to tell you everything, Luc Navet, who closely resembles a presenter of a famous gardening show, or even a Parigaud supporter of PSG who thinks that at home, we speak "Belgian", and many others. A veritable farandole of accents, each as picturesque as the next, which has made Martin Charlier one of the sure values of the Grand Cactus.

On the program at 12:30 p.m.: BJ SCOTT "INTIMATE"
Beverly Jo Scott is an exceptional voice, a talented songwriter and an extraordinary showwoman.
